For over 30 years, Almar Container Group, headquartered in Durban, South Africa, has been providing container solutions to international and domestic partners. It continues to focus on building strong relationships based on trust and reliability, with quality as a key to our success.
As part of the global business, Almar Container Group opened its doors in Saudi Arabia in 2014 through an agency agreement with one of the leading Saudi conglomerates. In June 2022, Almar went independent with a MISA (SAGIA) License, and Almar Containers Saudi Limited Company has a registered office in Dammam and satellite offices in Jeddah and Riyadh. 

The operations in Saudi offer a full spectrum of container solutions – Dry, Refrigerated, ISO Tanks, and Gensets. In addition, with Almar’s office in the United Arab Emirates, Almar is well-positioned to cater to and support the Gulf Region. We aim to simplify life for our customers by passionately committing to helping them overcome their business storage, accommodation, infrastructure, and transportation challenges. We do this best by working together as a team and creating strong relationships.

As a family-founded, owned, and operated business, The Almar Container Group has strong roots in a value-based business approach. Since our inception in 1988, our values have remained central to everything we do, and we ensure that every member of our team understands and lives these values out. As a result,we have a team that is empowered and accountable for the decisions that they make, allowing us to act fast and effectively in our ever-changing operating environments.

Having opened in Dubai in 1994 and Saudi Arabia in 2016, we are well established to cater to the diverse Middle East region. With the humble shipping container being one of the largest enablers to the global economy, our passionate and dedicated team at Almar sees ourselves as being an enabler to the Middle East economy. We seek to partner with our stakeholders and solve the challenges that limit the region.
